i ran my 33x13.50's on 10 inch wide wheels and did a lot of heavy wheeling at 8psi. I only lost a bead once and it was do to winching the sidewall into a rock. I ran to the end of the trail on the flat and then aired it right back up, never had any problems since.
sorry but if you're buying an offroad oriented tire, why not get a set of wheels to accomidate them. Beadlocks in my mind are required for a trail only vehicle.

Will the rockers do any good in mud I know they are suppose to be awesome in the rocks but down here in Mississippi we mostly have gummy mud and log hill climbs and loose steep dirt hills no rocks. I really like the way the rockers look would love to get some but if anybody knows how good they might do in my type of terrain please let me know.
I've been happy with mine in the mud. I don't think they are a bogger by anymeans but I've never been stuck in a mud hole. Sometimes it takes a little throttle to get them to clean in the sticky stuff but... I think they work well but to get the full benifit of them I think you need to be running superlow psi (beadlocked rims).
You guys seem pretty spot on. They are awesome looking and supposedly perform great offroad, but from my experience the 35x14.50/r15 Pitbull Growlers should be just that......offroad tires.
I have had mine for a couple of months and as stated before you do have to drive for a few minutes to warm them up as they are bias ply. Also, since they are bias ply you cannot truely balance them. For this I used 12oz of water/antifreeze as I read it online. It made the wobble a little better. I had them on some old steel 15x10 chromies.
I replaced every TRE and bushing under my xj which is lifted 8-9" and it still wobbled. Looks like it is back to some MTRs or KM2s for me!
This is next to a BFG Mud Terrain 35x12.50/r15 on an 8" rim with 1 1/2 spacers..... (on flat fender)
This is how they look when off the rims and are not all balooned out.
