pipe and metal where to buy?

Does anyone know where to buy pipe and steel in the Denver area? Do any of them have a surplus yard (scrap metal)?

I get all my box and flat at Dencol and my tube at Hinton. I've never shopped for pipe.

pipe or tube will work, its going to be used for bumpers. How reasonable are the price wise?

I also use K&K surplus they are much cheaper than Dencol I know because I used to go there.

If you ever happen to make it to the Springs, I can take care of you pretty well. So long as you don't need vast quantities of stuff, I can sell you almost anything you could imagine at a decent price. One of the benefits of working at a steel shop. :laugh3:

Down here in the Springs I have been using the Scrap Metal Recyclers over off Tehon Street. 12ft of 2inch round for 6.85.

Working on off-road kart, needed more tubing for 4pnt belts and engine mount for 13hp motor.

12 foot of 2 inch round what? Rod? Pipe? Tube? I have heard of some mixed-bag deals there. Some good some bad. It definitely pays to shop around.

It was round pipe, I needed something thicker for supporting the engine. The one I went to, the guy said walk around if you find something come get me.
