This was the first time I've really put the rig to the test and I was very happy. I didn't get hung up even once; the worst I had to do was to back up to be able to make a turn around rocks. Of course I didn't go through the tough part of Little Sluice. I can't wait to go again. This trip identified a few things that are rubbing, etc. that I need to fix, so it's in the garage getting ready. I plan on going before summer is over so if you want to go...By the way, the lights look KILLER! How's your project coming along brother? I'm throwing around the idea of a stroker & an Atlas II...I'm going on a run with a club out of Grass Valley the weekend after the 4th, and then the following weekend going to Buck's Lake. After that, I am wide open, so let's put a trip together!

Yeah... I found all the problems with my YJ on the Rubicon. I just had a wheel cylinder go out on the XJ... perfect excuse to get my 8.8 and upgrade the booster. As to making the Rubicon this year... It'll be August at best before I can manage it, she just isn't up to it yet. I do want to run it before I paint her though... get all of the contact points cleared or armored... Then pay to smooth and shine her up! She runs great though... I DD her and other than the brakes she has given me no trouble at all.
