Here is my story and links to all the pics I am aware of:

Yeah, it's kind of long so skip to the bottom for pic links. Jeff

BOTWII (Best Of The West 2)

This was the second gathering of Modified Jeep Cherokee XJ’s in the West organized by Richard Gauthier. Last year a group did a week of trails in Arizona and this year we did a week of trails in western CO and Northern NM. This was my first time wheeling with this bunch of guys. All Cherokee owners that we knew with certain mods (like at least 33’s, two lockers, no C-clip front axle U-joints etc) were invited. Here is who actually showed up:

Richard Gauthier CA
Kevin and Felicia CA
Jesse Rivers CA
Andy and Lisa Couch CA
Paul Sinclair CA
Matt and Jeni CA
Erik Miguells Seattle, WA
Bill Van Tuyl and friend Joe Seattle, WA
Mike Jarvis Eau Claire, WI
Jeff Ayers and dad Jim & son David Butternut, WI
Brad and Rhoda Telluride, CO
Led Lancos Colorado Springs, CO
Grant Barclay CO

The story was too long, so I cut it out. Here are the pic links:

Very cool. You guys from Wisconsin had quite a journey out west.
I got a couple errors on the urls, I'd like to see the pics from Die Tryin'.

Man this is pissing me off! I copied all the links the same way. They all work before copying, but these three just will NOT post correctly.

I got the '98 last fall. I did the buildup this spring and barely got it ready for BOTWII. In fact, I got an output flange for the transfer case from Tom Woods Thursday and left on Friday. However, I did NOT get rock rails built, so Mike and I made some in Montrose using steel purchased from Alpine Offroad and did it in their driveway! Ole Blue has been lowered a bit and got '98 axles and transfer case. It still runs and will be hitting the auction block soon. It is a bit rusty though. Jeff

Man is this stupid! I AM typing in the whole URL, but this board is stripping part of it out! If I right click on the posted URL and check properties, it shows that a bunch of the middle of the URL is missing.

Scratch that! I checked the properties on one of the posted links that work and the URL shown there is messed up too, so I guess the properties isn't really telling me what I want to know. I give up. You are only missing one pic of the Rock Garden and it isn't anything special. Jeff
