Picked up a RHD XJ

I'm sure you guys have noticed my sale ads bombarding the classifieds forum. I had to sell my Silverstone Metallic XJ (that I was in love with btw) so I could pick up a White 2000 RHD XJ SE. My friend Brad who went to WF 11 with us found this mail Jeep out in his neck of the woods and after kicking a little cash his way for a "finder's fee" it's now mine. I will post pictures tomorrow. It's rough but it's a RHD which I've always wanted. I am in desperate need of a 96 or newer 4.0L if anyone has a good one for sale.

I'll be snapping lots of pics tomorrow so get ready

Yeah Josh, I've never been able to afford one til this one, and of course it has major issues. Usually late models go for 4-5k if not more around here.

I never thought about that, I'll have to alternate between this and my other DD.

The worst rust is above the rear flares from having mud and gravel dust constantly packed up in there.





The interior is skank but a good cleaning will do it wonders

I know Byron, I'm a glutton for punishment, but I can only afford a rough one unfortunately so I'll have to slowly rebuild while making it the way I like it. I'll try to make it live up to that p.i.m.p. name

We got a lot done on the interior today, I'll try to get some pics up tonight, it looks 100x better!

So here are my tentative plans for this build...
-New motor
-2" lift
-TJ MOAB or Ravine wheels
-Factory tinted glass or darker window film
-Clear lenses/Red and clear taillights
-Body color the flares, grille, bumpers, license plate brow
-Fix rust
-Maybe try to add cruise, air, power windows/locks but I don't have high hopes for making any of that happen since I would have to find a loaded RHD to pull harnesses from
-Eventually paint a different color (probably years away)
