Im about 45 minutes East of Kansas City, and looking for a lead on a pick and pull with a d30/35 combo with 4.10 gears....or just anyone with a great deal on some gears for my 2000! Just dont have a pick and pull near, they want $115 for a stock front driveshaft around here ha! Thanks guys

i know the pick n pull i went to in kc we picked up a rear drive shaft for 15 and at another one we got a front for 20 i think.

put a post in the wanted section at kcjeepclub.org. My friend sold axles like that a few months ago now, but i am sure some others will show up.

Thanks a lot guys
It will be awhile before i get up to the KC area, so if one of you go keep your eyes open for me if ya would. Thanks again for the help!

are you sure you want to put in another d35? I know there are several xjs at both of them that had 8.25s in them, and they are the same price. Gearing might be a hard thing to find. The real sad thing about that one on the MO side is if you got a whole axle, they would charge you for each peice, IE, housing 1, shafts 2, carrier 1, ring gear 1, pinion 1, drums 2, hard brake lines 2, soft brake lines 2, backing plates 2, wheel cylinders 2, ect, and then they charge you a $1 to $5 per part "core" charge. but it is a nice fairly clean place and they have half off saturdays, so that helps.

The one on the ks side is a mess, bring some overalls and plan on washing them at the laundry mat when you are done with your pull. But if i remember right they had 8.25s as well, and they did have a price for a complete axle on the list. IIRC it was 100 to 150, but dont quote me on that.

I think the D35 will be fine for me. I already have the locker for it, and at most i will run 32's. I dont drive hard, and wheel even lighter. The 35 is by far not the best axle, but i have never had any major problems. I also have the abs system.
Dont get me wrong, if i found an 8.25 with 29 spline shafts and a locker in the rear with the right gears i would go with that hands down. Thanks for the heads up on the dirt!

if you get the above axle, i know where there is a lock right that would go right in it real cheap, and then you would be locked and the same setup you are in, and all you would have to do is get some gears. but it is up to you .hasta
