Pick and Pull Junk yards

I'm going to be in Iowa in March, and as is tradition, I always hit a junkyard on my birthday.

Are there any pull a part yards near Ames or Des Moines, Altoona, Boone - basically 30-45 minute drive any direction from Ames.

There is a guy on YouTube that videos trips to Doug's quite a bit. That's on my list.

I guess I am spoiled in Nashville having 4 pull a part yards with 40 miles of the house.
