Petition AGAINST "Thrillcraft"
Theres a group trying to end all ORV use. They call themselves 'thrillcraft'. See their video here...http://www.stopthrillcraft.org/index.htm

Here's the petition to show these people how many users are against a ban.

I have seen this on other forums and feel that "We" as a whole off-road community need to stop these clowns.

Be careful how you word yourself in any petition or letter.

The term used on that website to describe any kind of off-road vehicle is "thrillcraft". So our Jeeps are thrillcrafts. The organization that is trying to ban off-road vehicles is "Stopthrillcraft".

If you say "stop thrillcraft" or "...against thrillcraft", you are saying that you are opposed to off-road vehicles.

So the title of this thread should be "Petition Against Stopthrillcraft".

Saw the book for this IN Moab when I was at the 25th Anniv event. It was a book store and they were having a sidewalk sale. From the title and the picture on the cover I thought it was gonna be something cool. I thought it was going to be a nice hardback book about the fun of off-road motorsports. Especially being in Moab.

After 2 seconds of reading the propaganda, I put it back. I wanted to kick it to the street and have one of our Jeeps drive over it.

Someone should hack into their site and post links to the actual real scientific studies that prove ORV use has a minimal impact on the environment as a whole.

The thing that really pisses me off about this crap is how a group of a few loud mouth nuts can f^ck it up for the rest of us who support outdoor recreation. Yeah there are a few asshats who go out and tear things up but there are also asshats on the other side who get way out of hand with their environmentalist crap. To them a compromise is not good enough. They are only happy if they can prevent anyone from enjoying motorized recreation anywhere. This is a nation that used to operate on the principal of majority rule but liberals have taken to ignoring the needs and the rights of the many to assuage the loud few who make a big stink about what is usually nothing. The only realistic solution to their concerns is better enforcement of the existing rules and regulations that have been passed to protect our environment from the jerks who would destroy everything in their path. If these enviro-nazis (this term is used to illustrate my point, I'm not really calling anyone a nazi) spent as much money paying for more rangers and other law enforcement officers to patrol the outlying lands as they do lobbying elected officials, the problem would be solved and the jerks out there would get an education in proper environmental stewardship. The best thing we can do if you don't want to spend too much time on the issue is to simply say something to the d!ckheads we see tearing up the land unnecessarily and dropping their trash everywhere and other inappropriate behavior. It is this behavior that gives the greenies their ammo against us. [steeping off of soapbox]
