Hey All,

I'm new to posting on here, but will be starting my MJ build thread as soon as I can get this big red unibody out of my way.

I'm parting out my 2000 4.7 limited red WJ. The jeep was never wrecked, but the front fenders have some dings on them. Make me offers!

I plan to use some of the parts for my MJ project, but the majority need to go. I bought the jeep off the original owner back in 2004 and the odometer reads 212k. The jeep was in great shape minus it needing its second transmission and t-case chain, as well as some rocker rust (not structural).

I initially planned on using the wiring harness, engine, trans, t-case and axles for the swap, but am leaning towards pulling more parts off of my donor XJ... So I was very careful removing them and didn't break anything.

My current plan is just to use my front seats, axles and t-case.. that being said, the rest is for sale. (before you give me sh*t about using the axles, the truck is going to be a light trail rig and daily driver)

The engine runs great with no problems at all. The trans wants to go into limp mode after it gets up to temp. I replaced it about 40k ago with one out of the scrap yard that was marked to only have 30k on it. That mileage could be true and could be a torque converter issue, because until it gets thrown into limp mode, it works perfectly.

The unibody is 100% stripped, the wiring harnesses are completely removed and in perfect condition, and with the exception of the front seats which I'm using, the rest of the interior is for sale. The AC has the new style blend doors for dual climate control and holds a charge. The body itself would be a perfect foundation for a TREC rig or trail rig, or donor for parts to repair a wrecked WJ.

I also have a bumper and grill from a 2004 limited that I had planned to put on my jeep at one point - also for sale.

If you have any questions, please shoot me a PM and I'll get you an answer. I'm in Columbus Indiana and will ship what I can or meet you half way depending on location.

Here's a link to some photos.. can take more upon request:

But your CJ also had a 4bt in it.......we'll accept you! :D

Rewster - Got the hitch and tank out. Want me to hold them for you? I've got a guy coming in the next couple days to look at the body and not sure if he's going to ask for those too.

Thanks

Dad's 4.7 is running again...

If they weren't such a mess to rebuild I'd consider for the popcan.

I knew someone was going to bring it up here.

This week's the week.. Whoever wants it from the forum can have it for scrap value without the title.. Come and get it for 150 bucks! ( I'll sell a clean title and vin too if anyone wants it )

I'm thinking Weds is the end of the road for it... Then it either goes to a salvage yard or crusher.

I need the space!

wife wants me to pass on that stuff. she would rather have the problems with it fixed first lol

I understand that.. Tell her for what it is, it serves its purpose just fine :)

Taking this thing to the crusher is going to be like taking a dog to be put down.. had a lot of fun with this thing!

SOLD! Craigslist does it again.. Threw in the tailgate and got $650 cash money..

(at the cost of helping the idiot load it on a u-haul open center trailer in the rain... no axles, remember?)

Sweet! Even with helping load in the rain...

So to keep everyone up to date with this thread, what's left?
