parking brake ?

i have a dana 35 in right now but i have an 8.25 to go in so will the stock parking brake cable work with the 8.25 rear

I think I read you will need to use the 8.25 cable.

backing plates and brakes are interchangeable between the 8.25 and the D-35, E-brake cables should work fine as well.

I have a set of new backing plates complete with brake hardware, shoes, and cables for an 8.25. They cam off a factory new axle from jeep. I upgraded to ZJ brakes. I also have new drums too, but they'd be too expensive to ship.
