Sorry Paul, I know I mentioned to you that we were going to go this coming weekend, but I don't think I can make it now. I have a rattle coming from the front end on the drivers side that I need to track down. Also, it looks like my brand new poly tranny mount is coming apart. I fly to CA tomorrow morning and don't get home until Friday night, so it is looking unlikely that I'll have time to fix anything before Saturday.
Mitch, keep in mind Black/Red Trail + snow = ...don't know what, what is above a Red?
Usually Blue trail + snow = Black though.
Snow on the trails in Paragon can be lots of fun. Last time I did it I didn't have it in low range the whole time. Lockers become almost a nessecity though.

If I recall correctly, Pete was my spotter/bitch first when my XJ rolled at Tellico way back in July '01... I was gonna continue with a comment about popping someone's cherry, but I'll refrain. :gag:

here is the rig I ran at NEUROC and my hard working spotter. This is like the 21st time he rolled my truck NICE ONE PETE!!!

Also, what use is having chicken-legs Pete on the end of your rope? Like he's really gonna be able to prevent a rollover... you'd be better off with a sack of rocks (in more ways than one... I had a chunk of igneous granite that could weld better than the baby-vomit booger welds that Pete lays down!)

Well y'all missed an excellent Paragon trip.I went with Long Island Off Road Club due to some people backing out at the last minute,no names mentioned!!!We had all virgin snow.We did lower and middle WhomPum and that green trail that runs behind Q,M and PipeBender.Andy your right the snow adds a whole new element to it.WhomPum was like a black trail!!!My tow rig couldnt even get up Paragons driveway,I had to park down by the street,POS 2wd Ford!!!

hey, i was with tri-state 4x4...we past you on your way out...i was in the black xj with the roof rack...our group had a good time aswell...yeah the snow definitly made for a tougher time out...we will be heading back in end of feb..
