P0132/P0138

Does anyone have any idea what would cause a p0132 or p0138 code 1997 XJ 4.0 auto fresh oxygen sensors new plugs wires cap and rotor

Bosch O2 sensor or NTK ? Jeep 4.0L and Bosch O2 sensors do not play well together.

P0132 JEEP - O2 Sensor Circuit High Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0138 JEEP - O2 sensor 1/2 Circuit high

Possible causes

- Faulty Front Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1
- Front Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 harness is open or shorted
- Front Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 circuit poor electrical connection
- Damaged O2 Sensor plug or wire harness
- Inappropriate fuel pressure
- Faulty fuel injectors
- Intake air leaks
- Exhaust gas leaks

They are NTK sensors . I was wondering about the fuel injectors as they leak off if it sits for more than 30-40 minutes I will have to wait for the fuel pump to prime for a decent clean start. And than it smells rich for a few seconds after it does start.
