Oval blue LED strobes

I have been looking everywhere to source an oval blue strobe LED light for the rear of my jeep, I would like it for a few race events here on the east coast...i saw them at KOH and other such race rigs. Can anyone tell me where you can grab these things? I would much much appreciate it. I found one from Grote on google shopping but sadly it goes for over 110 dollars as opposed to the other colors going for far less...i assume that isnt the only option as it appears the one in the pictures i see are different LED patterns on the inside...even a non strobe would suffice.

here are a couple pics to reference what i am wondering about:

What do the racers think of the flashing lights? From the sidelines at parker I thought the always on LED yellow and LED blue lights were the easiest to spot. The strobing ones didn't seem to be as eye catching to me.

I thought the incandescents were the worst. LED is the way to go to be seen.

Well, the blue isn't a dust cutter like the amber, it's just to let you know when you DO get it in your vision, it's going to be a lot slower than you.

As for LED for Halogen, Halogen spot dust lights are by far superior to LED's as far as dust cutting. LED technology however is coming a long way, and making progress. I have a few that will be going on the back of the XJ that are basically like individual little flash lights, with fluted lenses built into the main lense. They project a TON of light.

I'm surprised you like the halogen better, I wasn't directly behind the rigs so it must have been the angle that was throwing me off. It does make more sense that a spot would cut better.

Are your fluted flashlight style lights LED or incandescent?

I PERSONALLY like LED better, looks wise, but for dust cutting I can see someone with a halogen better. That seems to be the common consensus as well. My new ones are LED, with a thick lense.

They look a lot like these, but more LED's:

When I turn them on in the dark, I can use them like a flashlight, they cast off TONS of light.

ive got a PIAA halogen dust light, and a newer style LED one, and the LED one is barely enough to light my engine bay (where i put it after being dissapointed with the light output) the LED one wasnt a cheapy either, now to think of it, both were bought at kartek

It's a personal opinion, so take it for what it's worth, but I hate the rear facing strobes.(at least following them) 'Rather have a steady light.

It just makes you want to pass'em. :)
Hmmm,....

No, just being behind someone in silt makes you want to pass them. :D

The strobes make you want to pull up next to them and push them over a cliff.

Note to anyone looking at these blue strobes for their racer - we looked at having our blue and amber flash instead of steady. I checked with SNORE today and they said NO FLASHING LIGHTS - blue and amber must be steady.

That sucks because the blue LED looks really cool when it flashes.

Unless there are red ones flashing with them behind you in your mirror.
