I mean the classic Willys 50's to 60's jeep pickup not a J series. I know some of you fellow XJ'ers have an old one laying around rusting in a field.
I am bouncing around some ideas for a nailhead powered street rod based on a car frame and a willys pickup body but need some very basic measurments which will pertain to how wide a frame I can get away with without it showing or being outside the body.
accross the bottom of the cab at the slimmest point (at the doors)
inner fender to inner fender (inner tire clearance) approximate will suffice.
outer fender to outer fender (to guage how wide the front tires can stick out)
optional (because the beds on these are often gone or heavily modified):
across bed at slimest point underneath (not the bed rails but the bed floor).
total length
distance between firewall and inner part of core support ignoring the rad
distance between front grille and back of cab corner (approximate)
if anyone happens to have those measurements handy (yeah right) or can take them I'd be much appreciative.
