on topic... usually when batteries are under warranty its under someones name like your starter, alternator, and water pump that came from autozone.. A bunch of my friends bought them, I never did but have 2 of them.. So you might not be able to warranty it out as easily as you think..

My optima in the jeep has been through 3 vehicles, went dead once, and when they go dead they are most definately dead.. took about 24 hours after i was jumped off to work like normal

Update: Lonnie at 4WP called me back yesterday, said the Optima rep would honor the battery. Picked up a new one and put it in. Sure is nice to have it crank over fast now. No more leering side-glances from co-workers and shoppers as you nearly dead-crank your POS while trying to get the Hell out of there.


If this one fails, I'm taking out a contract for a hit on the lead engineer at Optima.

















Just kidding. Really. I'm not thinking about having anyone killed, honestly.
