Started drawing out my axle dimensions so we can get started with the fabrication :D

65 WMS to WMS should work wll with 40s. I am thinking of going 46 WMS to help out with the kingpin scrub radius (with 5" backspaced wheels).

So here it sits at the begining of the day :D

And then we did a little surgery :D

I've been hanging out with Paul way too much :D

I didn't get the wind shield out like I wanted to today but I removed the axle shock brackets today, got rid of the blocks under the leafs, removed a bunch of AC components, took the front bumper off (a bigger chore than one would think), reworked my power steering and tranny coolers, and cut up my junk today. More pics to come.

So, just before you go to bed, when you finally have time to quit working on your Jeep and check the computer, please tell us what the hell you are doing. :sure:

Who are you riding with at JV? :wierd:

Damn, I thought I had a lot to do, and I'm trying to cut down on things not make new things to do.

Just a bunch of tubework with some boatsides and some shocks tying onto the rear cage. If all goes well, it should be usable by Sunday. I will deal with the 'details' at a later time.

Got any tube work pics ? The clock is ticking.

you kidding?

im sure that Ron and Him are taking the next few weeks off from workin on jeeps... they'll start again on the 8th...

And Ron will decide that he doesnt like his current configuration, saying it weighs too much, and cut it all off around midnight on the 8th...

then they'll have 2 buggies to be working on... :D

I couldn't help but change tube work as well.

need to get the AL roof on now( just in case I wind up on my lid)

I wouldn't paint it, the oxidized hood matches the rusty tubes;)

I'd take any of your jobs over mine. I've got a bunch of welding to do that involves the removal of as much Herculiner as I have the energer to remove. Of course I don't have much energy, which means burning the weld into the clean metal until it melts the Herc off the Herc'd metal. I've found that as long as I don't blow out the fires the small stays in check:wierd:
