I got plenty on guns and ammo... Bring them on I need the practice.

Not to hijack the thread, I will have a set of Icon wheels like those for sale next week. :eyes:

Perhaps they won't be for sale now :eyes:

IF mine go up for sale it won't be for a few months. I have to get my lift and axles together first. I'm also considering converting them to beadlocks, 'cause I think that would be sweet as hell. They're my favorite Jeep wheels so why not?

Are those rims aluminum? If you'd like, you can practice building the DIY beadlocks on my Moabs.

Let me know when I can drop them off to you. I'll even throw in a JZ or 2 for when you're finished. :)

Oh no, I'd be sending these off to a company like Champion to get it done for me.

I bought this thing used from Chris over a year ago and I finally got a chance to use it. After a bit of modification I got the thing pretty much how I want it. Its still a "prototype" so its not perfect. I'll probably be adding to it also. I want to integrate mounting for my "puppy cage" divider thing. I like having the divider there not so much for the dog, but so if something ever happens my tool bags and gear stay out of the passenger area. Anyways, here is what I have so far.

This is my prototype hi-lift mount for behind the back seat of an XJ. It keeps the hi-lift secure and out of the elements.

It mounts to the brackets for the rear seat's back-rest utilizing the factory hardware. The back seat is still able to fold down w/o issue.

And for those of us running stock sized tires, it doesn't interfere at all with the factory spare tire location.

No, because you only need 4.10's with 33's. I'm not going any bigger than that with this rig. 32-33" tires are what I'll be sticking with on it.

4.10's aren't quite deep enough but they'll suffice. I can get the axles I want with 4.10's w/o the need to spend extra money. I usually tell people that with the AW4 if you're spending money on regearing to opt for the 4.56's because they give you the room to move up to a 35 and even with a 33 the extra gearing is nice.

An ARB is selectable so there is no issues with it on the street. And the rear will have the factory limited slip in it from the 8.8

those selectables are like $800, right? :(

Yeah, its going to be a while before I can get it. I'll be running it open until then and keeping my eye out for a used one.

I am doing 4:88's, and I love your high lift mount. When you gonna start selling them, or what you want for one?

PM me about it if you want one.

Modified the hi-lift mount already. Added some tabs for it and then cut down my old air-kennel and welded the all-thread into it so it would bolt to the mounts. I was going to make some little tie-in brackets to go secure the top of the kennel to the upper seatbelt bolts but its plenty stable as is so I'll probably just leave it as is.

nice, I totally forgot you bought that old "formatt" jack mount from me... long time in the reverse engineering process! Congrats on the new rig, one of us is back in the fold anyways!
