One more time, Dutch has an XJ again!!

Picked up a 2000 Classic from my friends dad. A/C, Cruise, PWR Driver seat, PWR windows/locks, Factory hitch, 8.25 rear, matching alloy spare, yada yada yada. His dad was the original owner and it's got a tad over 200,000 miles on it. If it was black it would pretty much be my 98 XJ all over again (that was my first Jeep) so I'm pretty stoked. I paid 2,000$ for it do I think I made off pretty well.

Pics:

The plan is just a basic 4.5" short arm, 8.8 w/ 4.10's and LS, HP D30 w/ 4.20's and an ARB, bumpers, sliders, and 33's. I'll probably swap in a 231 also (it has the 242) and I'm going to install my RADesign shifter for the YJ into it as well. This will be my daily driver, light wheeling, camping rig. I started to take the family camping last summer and they liked it a lot. My 3yr old son loves it and going wheeling so it should get some heavy use in that dept. It'll also give me something to wheel while I keep plugging away at the YJ.

4.10's and 4.20's would work just fine together. I know Dutch and he's a fat fingered knuckle dragger so I bet he hit the wrong key with his Johnsonville brat fingers.

No way, not this one. Ever since my 98 got totaled I've been wanting another one just like it. I did have a silver 2000 for a bit but it was pretty hacked and I after having built and rolled my 92 I was burned out of them. Thats when I got my YJ. I finally found pretty much the exact XJ I wanted and at a price I was more than happy to pay. This one is staying around for awhile.

Its still a 12yr old Jeep so it has its fair share of scratches and dings. But the only thing wrong with the interior is the cracking on the side of the driver's seat. It has its typical little quirks that most of these 97+ XJ's seem to have. I need to fix a short in the wiring harness going to the driver's door as only the master switch and 1 of the passenger doors works for the window controls. And the driver door speaker is mute. The passenger side fog light is out too. Otherwise no issues.

I have an Agate seat skin for the lower part of that seat that I snagged from the junkyard a whille back. Someone gutted the seat for the power parts but left the lower seat sitting there. The seat foam was tore up from their hack job but the skin was good. Lemme know if ya want it.

Oh and I call dibs on those wheels if you end up going with different ones............

You want too much for it. I can get one from the junkyard complete w/ 4.10 gears, brakes, and shafts for 50$ more than you want for the bare housing.
