I met a guy (who is a friend of my friends) who is one of the sons of a multimillionaire. The family owns a local lumbermill that has been around for about a 100 years or so. They also own about 50 acres of land that is rented out, ect, ect, ect. Well, I got to see his playground this weekend. The shop is about 7 times bigger than my house. Has cutting torches, welders, generators, one of those pits for working under stuff, benders, grinders. You name, he has it. The guy was really nice, but still had a little bit of that "rich kid" attitude. But, I will give him props on his fab skills. He runs a 93 burban that he did most (if not all) the work on. And I will say, it's a beast. I just think it would be great to have all the tools at your disposal any time you wanted. Along with all the extra parts you could handle. :peace:

I have a couple of friends who are multimillionaires...and neither of them is stingy with their money. Neither have the 'rich kid' attitude, probably because they built things themselves. They started with nothing and built up to what they are now.

Well, this guy isn't as bad as maybe i made it out to sound, but you can tell when he talks sometimes that he thinks he is above others. And this is momma/daddy/grandpa money, not his own. He's not stingy either, he is building/help build my friends bumpers and sliders.

It is very cool to have RICH friends who are still real people.

edit: I am not rich by far, but it's nice to have accumulated many thousands of dollars worth of tools and machinery. And i still eat cheese sammiches. haha

i dont have a whole lot of money, but i live semi comfortably (well, not right now, i live in a tent with 7 other females, anyone wanna trade!!!) and I enjoy helping out wherever and whenever i can....if it means giving up a few bucks here and there, or an extra pair of hands, i'm all there. i'm slowly building my tool collection (anyone in here have a snap-on guy that they're in cahoots with??) and my collection of jeep(s) and parts is slowly growing, eventually i might actually have 2 complete built jeeps! hope to meet the NW crew, and eventually prolly some of the midwest and SE guys by the end of the year. i know i'm gonna need help w/ my ongoing projects, and i have no prob helping out wherever i can. this is a great bunch of guys and gals, and its great knowing that i can get advice (or an extra pair of hands, etc. .) whenever i need it. THANKS GUYS!!!!

May be fun at times, but ya gotta think about the fact that with that many women in one tent, there probably wouldn't be a day when at least one of them has their "friend" visiting.

I live with 2 and that's enough tension for me.

my luck I'd have 7 telling me how to mow the dirt around the tent and making the mother of all honey-do lists...and they've got guns....

After a while they all sync up... then you just gotta find another tent 1 week out of the month :laugh3:

Slow down K.

Most guys don't want a woman that can win an argument with them much less a fist fight.

However, you do have wrench skills, which makes up for any black eye.

"Honey, will you finish fabbing up that crossmember for me please?"

lol just cuz i have wrenching skills doesnt mean i can run a welder or anything like that........have not worked up to that yet, will do so eventually......sides i'm not a mean person...i wont punch the hell outta someone unless they REALLY deserve it........i'm a really easygoing person (you have to be in my family lol)
