Where to get police spotlights

Hey I'm new to the forum and i've been reading a lot of it in the last few days. I ran across this thread and I can answer a few of the earlier questions as to where to get the police spotlights.
Unity is the company that makes the police spotlights, and they also sell to consumers via their webpage or distributors. Their webpage is at: www.unityusa.com and the Cherokee parts page is at: http://www.unityusa.com/apps.asp?MAKE=JEEP&MODEL=CHEROKEE&B1=show

You might be able to get a unity spotlight at a local junkyard, and only have to purchase the mounting kit.

I have one of these and they are awesome. Go to the unity page and look up local dealers. I did this and saved about $40 versus buying directly from unity.

Farmer matt ran extensions off his roof rack down alongside the A pillars and mounted lights there. Looks pretty slick...
I saw that on the rack he gave away at Moab. Nice system!

Here's a jeep with lights mounted in that region. It was on JU...

I like how that looks, cbremer, but do you think there is a way to make the handle not so long? Maybe its just the angle the picture is at, but it looks like it might get in the way when its not in use. It would be nice if the light can be locked straight and the handle taken off for when you dont need to aim it. Hmmmm, any ideas? Is it possible? If it is then it might be worth the hole to drill.
