Long story but had to cut my "old" synthetic winch line off my old winch. I want to reuse it. Had to cut right at the tab where the screw holds it to the spool. Anyone know how I can crimp a steel end on again so I can reuse? Think they make such a thing?

Just tie it on. Its the wraps that hold it to the drum. :gee:
 
My 320i is in the shop

Got a 328i loaner. I like it. That scares me.

Try a hydraulic hose custom shop, they might have the tools, or a marine wire/cable repair shop.
 
OK so who is coming to the Ecomike-NAXJA meet and greet in Galveston this weekend? I need some cell phone numbers for those that are coming so we can find each other. What are you bringing and when? We plan to camp on the east beach (if we can??) and I will be staying at a hotel Sunday night on or near east beach (shopping for one right now) as my RA will not let me stay in a tent on the beach, and mosquitoes set of my RA inflammation... just too old for that anymore....

Does anyone know if they rent umbrellas and folding lawn chairs on east beach or if we can bring our own these days?

Been years since I stayed down there and I use to go to Stewart beach and crystal beach (but those are not a good option anymore), as they do not allow vehicles on the beach at Stewart beach.... I think they still allow vehicles on the beach at East beach and the beach is much safer than SanLuis (sp?) pass to swim?

This weekend is the Galveston Texas meet and greet for us that can make it, and my 60th birthday beach party bash. Who is coming? Hope every one can join us Sunday!!!! I hear some of you will be there Saturday for a beach run?

In case anybody may want to wheel the weekend after next the 7th-9th some of us from here in Waco area are headed to Hidden Falls. It's the JEEP JUNKIES from here. No hardcore people a few very nice "mall Crawlers" might even show. Just a smallish group but will have fun. Shout if you can come. I even think I may head down on Thursday with one or two of the guys.
 
Anyone notice in the new Terminator movie... they went back to 1984 and had like a new condition Cherokee in the driveway? Then they end up in 2017 and they still have the same Cherokee... same condition ;) looks like they last a LONG time ;)

I liked the movie but I always seem to watch movies for mistakes :)
 
Don't knock it til ya try it. I'll take some of that to my next hot yoga class.
