There has been some talk of a beach run, I think w should try to get one together this summer. Where does everyone want to go, Surfside would be great for me, there is beach camping just outside of town and we are near bryant and Galveston, Galveston has pelican island, but I don't know if that is open. Other ideas?

Anyone have a synthetic winch extension cable I can borrow. I am doing the Ozark run agin and there are some water crossings that the extra length could come in handy if I / we get in trouble.

check ebay. I saw some Dyneema 3/8" winch line on there a few nights ago for $100 and under.
