Really? He's 4 months old and you can't control what he's eating b/c he's breast feeding?

:banghead:

Some people just shouldn't be parents.....I say they deserve to not be covered. After that statement, I'm surprised the health insurers aren't saying "....in addition, we're not going to cover him because his parents are idiots, which also makes him higher risk..."

Who, us? Yeah.

Funny thing? I ended up a foot taller and twice a big as Maggie. But she's the one that looked like the Michelin Man until she was three years old...

I was referring to the monster baby, but yeah, you too. hahaha

I'm pretty sure I was somewhere in the 11-13 pound range... I'm just tall and skinny/normal now

My 3 kids were 7#11oz, 8#15, and 9#12. Figured I'd better stop at 3, figuring the next would hit the 10lb mark (and my back would collapse!). I'm 5'3, and was too skinny until my teens. That's not a problem for me anymore!

At one point while still a toddler, my originally 7#11 son looked like a Michelin tire guy--the chubby bulges on his arms & legs were deep enough he wouldn't tan in the creases! He's now 6-foot, 160lbs.

The 8#15 daughter was so chunky as a toddler that she had those 400-lb-woman legs, with thighs overhanging her knees. She's now 5'7 and long-legged.

The 9#12 daughter, who was the "tallest" at birth, too, is now the shortest kid, at "only" a slender 5'5. Not gonna go into her other features! She's really only 15--remember that, please, if you ever meet her!

Judging by my 3 kids and what they were like at birth versus now (15-18 yrs later), I really don't see birth dimensions or baby weight as having any correlation with one's adult stature or build.

Regardless, I feel sorry for both the parents and that poor baby.

exactly!

Aren't twins generally smaller anyways for the first couple years or so?
My 11 month isn't that big yet I'm pretty sure. That's huge for 4 months.
my twins were 5.1 and 5.15, they are 8months (next week) at 16.7lbs and 19.6lbs

Would you like to borrow a shotgun Carol?

Sebastian went through a fatty stage for a few weeks, now he's just back to being more solid than fat, he's 31.5" tall and around 28lbs now at one year.

I'd like to meet SeaBass someday soon...He's so f'ing cute!!

And no shotgun necessary (but I do appreciate the offer!!). Both my daughters (at least so far) can out-think, outsmart, and/or kick the ass of just about any guy. They also seem to have a pretty clear focus on what they're looking for in life, and pretty high expectations. I am thinking that the tendency to get into all sorts of trouble at an early age must skip a generation. I dread dealing with my grandkids!!

Besides, you do not want to see me in pissed defending-my-kids mode, either. And, their dad has two shotguns (along with other misc powder powered WMDs), and only lives 7 miles away & is always "on call" if I/they needed it.
