anyone converted their factory sanden compressor to OBA in a 2000 cherokee or similar with the sanden compressor that has the exits at the top with the bolt that holds them down?

ive already searced and every one ive seen is with the holes on the back.. not on top

Has anyone tried using TJ bracketry?Their A/C compressor is on the drivers side under the PS pump.

Throw a York in there next to the stock ac pump like I did. Best of both worlds and the York is a powerhouse.

do you have any pictures of it?

RCP Phx are you sure about the TJ setup... been digging for some pics of this and the best I found was on Rockkrawler.com. It was an OBA into TJ tech article and the ac was on the psgr side. If you are correct though, this would be an intriguing idea.

I've used it for about a month and its never leaked or anything bad and its so awesome to have on the trail. Plum in a $30 air tank and you can run air tools for fixes on the trail. Next im going to get a york compressor so I dont have to oil mine each time I use it. I kno I can get an air toold oiler but I didnt want to drop another $40 when this works great

yeah im kinda lookin at the yourk route.. im in no hurry since its autumn here and its cool outside anyways..

but thats an awesome writeup flash gordon

Well i just bought a NEW sanden to replace the one that went out. So i guess ill use it for AC.

Now im looking the york route.. im gonna have to fab up a bracket or something

I used one for OBA with the top mounts. I used the stock top mount bracket, cut the rubber ac line and added a filter to it for the inlet. On the outlet side I removed the rubber ac line and modified the little male fitting to accept a connection to the copperline I used before entering into the rest of the system (i.e. oil trap, pressure reg, tank)
