Got it for a steal. Went up and took a look at it yesterday...

Drdrea(don't remember his real name pnwjeep) his old black xj with f&r 60's, hydro assist, 39.5 iroks on beadlocks, hybrid cage, rocker replacement, f&r bumpers, winch, master craft seats, atlas 4 spd, and it was in great shape
Glue & tape's rig, not nearly as built as the other but a good deal.
Another identical to glue and tapes (but green) for even less money
And now the black/white one up in Seattle....

I don't get why someone would prefer the 249 over the 231 and 242? I understand if they like awd but the 242 give that option and more?!?

Started reading an article in JP that someone builds a true 32 spline SYE kit for the 242 now. Also that internals from a H1 HUMVEE case will fit in them.

I've met Tom a few times, he kinda different, but a very cool guy!

Bought a "window crank removal" tool for a side project I'm helping a friend with. I felt like $8 was overpriced, so I copied the design and built my own. I'll be returning the original.
Fyi a red shop towel works the best and they are less time spent.

I ran them on my MJ for over 5 years with no issues, mine were braced all the way to the crossmember.
They worked well for me.
