its a fast learning curve going from a 18 ft bumper pull to a 36 ft goose neck. you cant just whip into a parking lot to pick up a 6 pack.

I put my notice in before the thanksgiving run.. It's been exactly 1 week since I worked a shift..

I start a new job tomorrow, making almost Double my old wage.. I'm super excited!

oil seals leaking, cant see oil through the clear cap. I did take one of the hubs apart and I do like that you can clean all the bearings and races in under 5 minutes. I think who ever put them together messed up the seal. I am still thinking about just packing it full of grease and calling it good.

Yes you can replace that oil bath deal with a plain grease seal screw a solid hub cap on and pack them with grease. Oil bath is just nicer to have in an over the road application because you can see what's happening without a complete tear down.

The Warn 9.5XP is 23 inches wide, in comparison to the M8000's 21 inches.

This complicates my winch mount. Bigger is not always better.

The thought of cutting down my drum an inch has crossed my mind.

The new Zeon's and Power Plants are 24" wide for comparison.

It's crazy you would think with technology these days the would be getting smaller at least narrower
I have been trying to draw up something for my front bumper because that new light bar is 20" and my 12000 is 21 inches was gonna buy a smaller one but nope

The m8000 is shorter due to the motor..

I contemplated putting a 9.5XP motor on my M8000 and I know the XP motor was like 2" longer
