**NWChapter Random Thoughts Thread***

Well, the Wrangler motor has had it. I guess it's time for a over haul. Thought I had an electrical problem that would go away at about 3k. Not! Come to find out an internal combustion engine needs compression to make torque. I don't think 110 psi will do it.
 
Just curious, any pnw guys going to the fall fling in Moab in October?
 
Fml.... I would love to go!!! But I can't..... :(
Maybe 3-4 weeks? I'd like to do a 'shake down' just ordered my front chromoly's, Aussie (lokka) for the rear, 2 more raceline's, artec truss, ruff stuff frame stiffeners, leaf bushings, control arm bushings, and my fenders. Got a lot of work to do! I really really want to go to browns at least once before it starts raining!

Let's plan a trip (end of summer) around the end of Sept, cpl weeks after TTC ? I'd be down for that !

Lol Scott, I wish that was my bedroom! I'm going to be eating top ramen for the rest of the year, if I eat at all!

I think a end of September trip is a magnificent idea! I need to test out my heep and it would be nice to wheel with/meet some of you guys, and like I said I really really want to hit it before it rains!

I want to go but the Wrangler has some engine issues. I was going to pull the motor and do a complete overhaul. But now I'm thinking patch it up and run it in low compression mode. Then find another to build in the meantime.

Don't Dustin usually plan a end of summer run?

I did a TSF run at the beginning of August. My next big trip is Trophy Challenge in September. I'm sadly finding it very difficult to find time to wheel these days.

I think it would be awesome to do a big TSF bash while the weather is still decent. I might be jack stand wheeling by then, but I'd still come to eat the blueberries. :D

The good news is, when he kills the zj, all he will have to do is buy the chassis, but by then he will probably looking at ls3's, 404's, ori's and 43" sx's....

That's my line!

Being a modern day home owner is nothing like it was in the 90's. The payment and general up keep will damn near break a person. The only toys I have left is my Jeep and my penis. At least one of them are working fine right now.

If it makes you feel any better, This months rent broke the $100k mark I've paid to live in a house I'll never own :scared:
