**NWChapter Random Thoughts Thread***

I've come to a conclusion

The commander is way closer modeled after the XJ than the new cherokee anyday

It carries a lot of the same body lines, and is similar in ways.. It doesn't feel heavy, it's got adequate drivetrain to get the job done efficiently on road AND off-road, I really think this should have been a Cherokee
Come back!

I agreee 100 percent

Is 1" wheel spacers worth getting? I love the look of my stock steel wheels on my jeep and plan to keep them but I know they have 5.5" back spacing so basically with spacers I'd have 4.5" back spacing, does that make a big enough difference Or should I wait till I find some 1.25"-1.5" spacers?

i'll get to it, hng on....
They're big vids, takes forever to load.
John's is uploading as we speak, Brandon... yours is in 3 parts, so I have some editing to do.
(if you would have made it up in one try I wouldn't have all this work to do!) :D

New side build plan..

4cyl 5 speed MJ short bed 2wd..

3" lift, 31s, 44a with 4.56s and a spartan.. Would probably pull 20mpg!

I know I'm not going to get much if I sell the 44a, But its been too good of an axle to just throw away, I think a couple of Leaf perches and toss it into a rig with 31s would be awesome..

Mine got a solid 20 combination driving. On the hwy 25. 4cyl 5sp 4:10's and 31's. It gets about 8 now until I can figure out why I have 70 pounds fuel rail pressure.

25 MPG really? Hmm. I might have to sell my DD for one...

Paid my NAXJA dues for another year. No brainer.

On another note, it's been kind of quiet over summer as far as club activities (we're all busy, I get it). Any interest in another meet-n-greet soon?

It has been quiet, do you plan to do a summer camp out like we did last year? Or any other bigger get together wheeling trips? And I'm down for a meet n greet again
