According to various Trail Repair & Storm Water Management websites....
"The diagonal humps/mounds that run across the trail in order to direct water into a storm drain,
or used to simply divert the water away from the trail"

......are called WATER BARS....

This is in fact false....

We've all been misled people!!!!!
At least according to my "word of the day" calendar,

That may be specific to a "road" on a "hillside".

This is why I hate most people

I would have parked parallel to him and 6 inches from his drivers door. I love driving beaters

found out why I've only had two speakers the whole time.. And why one of them fades in and out... Haha

Wow thats some quality audio right there.

Haha I can imagine what people would say if they opened mine, they would find a metal "for sale" sign that's been bent to a rectangle so that my Stereo would sit level and not jiggle lol

I wanted to buy a the ruff stuff frame stiffeners with my tax refund and have spec fab do them but after hearing him talk about how the lower control arms are cut off and welded over...... I'm not so sure any more, I planned on staying short arm for a few years or so with at either the current 31" and 2" and when I go to 3.5" and 33" :-/ I'm might get he then and just cut the short arm mounts off later when I go long arm and 4.5" with 35" tires.

?!?, I have not seen the newest version from ruffstuff. sounds like those are for a long/mid-arm setup. get them, and cut/modify to fit around a stock short arm setup. OR, buy the HD stiffeners that will weld on "as is"

Bronze.

Just get them and I will cut the front wrap piece off and you can save them and I can add them back in when you go long arm
And as far as HD goes they are a waste 10 gauge doesn't help much and I wouldn't hang a Clayton kit on them its been done but not ideal

You and bronze have restored my faith lol didnt even think to cut that section off and put it on later lol I was pretty bummed thinking I couldn't use them but it looks like they are in the plans again lol, I should be getting my refund in the next few weeks hopefully so ill be hitting you up then on that. Sweet I'm excited now lol

I do stiffeners up on the lift and I use the weight of the jeep and large clamps to hold them super tight to the frame
And as far as duty cycles I can weld them in non stop on both sides and never hit the duty cycle on my welder

I don't stop welding till my crappy 100 amp fluxcore starts sputtering :gee:

I have no idea how that thing still works. I have pushed it way past the duty cycle (it doesn't have a shutoff, or even an over-temp light) and hell, I've welded 1" plate to 1/4" plate with it, and nothing's broken yet.

... well, there is one small stress crack in my bumper where I forgot to put it in 1st instead of reverse and therefore clutch dumped straight back into an oak tree from a few feet away, but that bent a 2x6 1/4-wall box tube bumper visibly and gave me whiplash, so I feel like only one little crack in the welds is pretty decent.
