i thought the AX-5 was a 2.4l 4cly trans?
i got the MJ for $475, it iis a rust free straight cab, bed, and tailgate and thats all i wanted. this is my first true Restoration/build so i am excited.
i am gonna do a 97+ conversion, 5.7 Vortec/AX-15/NP231, ford 8.8, Dana SUPER 30, 6.5" long arm, and 33" all terrains. BTW i am doing Edelbrock EFI on the 5.7 small block
its not gonna be a hardcore wheeler but rather a DD truck/trail/Camping/Expidition rig

2.8l and 2.5l used the same transmissions,the 2.1l diesel did too although the transmissions are slightly different and don't interchange with the gas models.
The BA10/5 Peugeot came behind 87-early 89 4.0ls
