Rotary Screw air compressor? Rebuilt a few IR's back in the day.
Very close. This one is a Carlyle Screw used for refrigeration. They are sweet machines. Music to the ears when one ramps up off a VFD.

I drove down to CA, just south of Lake Tahoe for 3 days of camping. Good views during the Jeeping.
Had a cool opportunity to do some work at the Oregon Rail Heritage Museum today. Had to do some maintenance on a Carlyle compressor for a 1950's lounge car's HVAC system. Toured the place after and got a behind the scenes look.
Never have seen a steam engine in person, these things are monsters of machines, very cool.

Yea.. I had some oil left in there. It wasn't fun to clean up. And I had to make the call of shame and ask a buddy to drive me to AutoZone for more oil and the correct filter.

Not yet! Still dialing it in, had a Walbro GSL392 fuel pump failure last week, now I’ve got a failing Steering pump.. I’m swapping to full hydro steering and tossing the 42s on. But I have been able to drive it a little bit on my property
