Nv3550 reverse issue

01 xj 5 speed with the nv3550. Was creeping along In first then had to back up, wouldn’t go in reverse at all just grinds. Everything was fine previously, and all other gears still shift great. Any ideas or issues I can look for ? Thanks.

Slave cylinder leak? Harbor freight vaccuum bleeder down the throat of the slave reservoir, hold pressure and slowly work the clutch. Easier with 2 people. If it pulls bubbles you could have a bad slave. Did this to an explorer that was parked because it wouldnt go into gear, worked, but ended up replacing the slave cylinder anyway
