Well boys and girls we're doin' it again!
Nov.10, 2007 at OCG
Bring your spouse, siblings, significant other, or your wino brother! Bring Granny and Gramps, the kids and the dog. Just be there!
Mandatory requirements for this run...Patience!
Pack a lunch, dinner, and possibly a late night snack if last year was any indication of what this year may be like.:D
Just like last year the Three Strike rule will be in effect.
Looking forward to seeing old friends and new this year.

Excuse my ignorance but what is OCG?? (Im sure when someone tells me I will say "oh yeah...DUH!!") And what are the vehicle requirements for the run?? (lift, lockers, etc)

Ok, so I am totally confused about this whole thing... I dont have a clue what it is... can someone help me out?

It's a trail ride so we can help you break in your new suspension. How did you make out with it?

good! I love it so far.. now I am looking for a towbar.. but I took it up Mt. Herman today.

Sorry, not a towbar, a bumper of some sort.

Last year we had 23 rigs, carnage, and a damn good time! Read the link I posted.

That was a great, but veeerrryyyy long day.

I was going to post up a November "end of the season" run but you beat me to it.

Old Chinaman Gultch...Duh. How tough is this trail?? I checked it out on Trail Damage and would like to go but dont want to be in over my head. What would you guys say would be the minimum tire size etc.? Thanks!!

Dana 60's front and 4 lockers and 3 spares!

Cool so my rockwells and 46" baja claws with my 4.5" Rustys should be good??

Seriously, a budget boost and 30's will get ya through. There's only one obstacle without a bypass and there will be plenty of folks to give you a tug if need be.

Sounds like fun! I've got a 2" and 31s so I will be fine!! Gonna have to get approval from the pregnant wife first....

Just mine.Hers needs way too much work to be considered trail worthy. For running around on the pavement its fine but no trails- yet. I guess I'll have to let her drive some of the trail:flamemad: :D.Damn, I really need to get her rig built this winter so I don't have to keep sharing mine.

I'm going to do my best to make it on this! I've been holding off digging into projects on the Jeep in hopes of one final run before the winter, and it looks like I can find something challenging this trail or wuss out on bypasses as I feel like it. :)

Now that the g/f has finished moving out here I have to encourage her to get her Jeep fixed in time for this. It needs a new track bar bushing and should fix the e-brake cables...

Few questions... where is OCG(I am new to Colorado)? And what is the three strike rule?

OCG is immediately east of Johnson Village, basically a few miles south of Buena Vista. South of Hwy 24 on CR 301
http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?formtype=address&country=US&popflag=0&latitude=&longitude=&name=&phone=&level=&addtohistory=&cat=&address=&city=Johnson+village&state=co&zipcode=

The Three Strike Rule means that no one can make more than 3 attempts at any one obstacle before either taking a strap, a winch, or a bypass around the obstacle. When you have a large group of people it helps relieve a bit of the congestion on the trail. Can you imagine 25-35 rigs waiting for one person to attempt an obstacle 5, 10, or even 20 times. Short answer, it's all about showing the rest of the group a bit of common courtesy.

Haha alright sounds good... how far from Monument you think?
