Id say if you could only get one. uppers or lowers. Id get lowers because those are the ones that are going to get trashed by contacting rocks and stuff.

but at ~3" stock short arms wont make your geometry screwy or anything.

So piecing the kit is going to be the cheaper route??? That's awesome that way I can get like a part a week or so rather than springing 1500 right out...

it can be because sometimes you dont need all the stuff in the kit. but if you are starting from scratch a kit might be a better idea

Im piecing mine because I have a bunch of stuff from my last build.

yes, thats a good choice, I've run this set up for a long time (Ive changed out parts of it over time). great street / trail lift kit

Only thing I can suggest, if they dont offer the track bar with this. I'd recommend a new track bar over re drilling the track bar axle mount hole. Just my 2 cents.

i had terrible luck with RE's rubber control arm bushings, but their customer service is pretty damn good and theyll probably send you as many new ones under warranty as humanly possible.

That's funny, I had great luck with their rubber bushings. Granted, that was about 6 years ago at this point. No idea what they do now.

You can absolutely redrill the trackbar mount and it will work fine, however I agree that an upgraded track bar is definitely not a bad idea.

I'd go right to their HD bracket with the brace and bar. I'd skip the one that uses the factory bracket.

i had a used set of SF lowers that had a good amount of use on them even when i bought them, so i bought a set of lowers that were pretty much brand new off someone like a month before i drove xcountry. they were already loose by the time i drove off of the ferry in CT. we wanted to stop at RE in california and get new ones but we didnt.

Agreed. The RE1660/1665/1670 combo is a great setup.

Good to know thanks for the knowledge...I'll have that set-up before I even lift it even if I can't put it in...quick question non lift related or anything..but I was wondering if the calipers on theses things switch side to side or not? if it matters what side they specifically for
