Northwest Chapter Meeting

I'll be there at 9am, unless I work up to my maximum hours of service. Dennys would work well, but I cant think of one with a seperate area for a meeting to take place in peace....and I imagine a weekend morning at Dennys will be sorta kinda busy?

But, on the other hand, I cant really think of any other morning meeting places, so perhaps Dennys is indeed the best bet?

so....

Southcenter or Newcastle (south of Bellevue)?

There's always Factoria...it's right off of 90. That'd make it easy to hit Denny Creek/Tinkham afterward.

And a lot of them have banquet rooms, they just charge like $50 or so to reserve them. ;) Not a high probability of getting one this late though.

IMHO, folks can be called if something really important comes up...but speakerphones aren't likely to work well in a restaurant. We've had meetings before at Denny's, Billy McHale's, etc and they worked just fine. If we need Glenn we can always call him. :)

Good news just got a call from the printers, the stickers are in. I pick them up tomorrow. They are going to be $5 a piece. So bring your cash Sunday because NAXJA doesn't take credit. And for those who aren't going to be there I will start taking orders Monday.

So are we wheeling Sunday? Need to know so I can pack my stuff. How is the terrian at Denny Creek/Tinkham?? Is it kinda like Reiter under the power lines? but with MUD

Considering I-90 was closed for a while at Denny Creek last night, I'd say we're in for a good snow run. ;)

Should be swapping my rear axle and installing the rear locker on Saturday after work. I need to get a NW Forest Pass sometime between now and then as well.

You need one of those for where we're going, BTW.

I would LOVE a snow run, There is more snow coming friday again :) Yea I need a NWFP my last one expired Jan.

um...NWFP?

sup widdat?

Yup, need one to tromp in those areas. There have been plenty of folks arguing that it's to park at trailheads...but experience dictates that it needs to be visible while even in the area. If you have a vehicle you have a potential for stopping, which can be deemed parking...according to them. I'm not fond of having to pay to recreate in a 'public' access area, but that's the way it goes for now. ;)

$30 for an annual pass, which works for Evans Creek and Naches, too.

Probably might be a good idea to add something about this requirement in the NWFest thread, huh?

Okay ,like the title says, Where is the meeting at??
:rattle:
DOH! Well...there isn't a Denny's at Factoria that I can find but there is one at 44th off 405 and there USED to be one at Eastgate off I-90...don't know if it's still there...

I think Phil hit it on the head by suggesting Southcenter and then backtracking a little...agree? He can go a little early (so can I) and snag some tables?

Then it's Denny's at Southcenter, 9am. I'll be there early and grab tables if I know how many of you are going to be there.

Afterward we caravan out to Tinkham/Denny Creek for a snowball fight. Usual wheeling gear applies.

I won't make it. But I need to hear details from Hans as soon as possible after details are figured out about Naches.

I post details about the meeting after I get home Sunday.

This is going to be the Dennys there by the 405/I-5 interchange, overlooking it if I recall? On Grady or Southcenter Blvd, something like that right?

Yes, on Southcenter BLVD where 405 and I-5 meet south of downtown Seattle.

Phil can give good directions (like the way I VOLUNTEERED you there, buddy? :laugh3: )
