No start 98 tj 2.5 after accident

My cousin recently wrecked his tj and its all back together, but there is no spark. We replaced the CPS and the coil, we also tried a scan tool but there are no codes being thrown. If anyone has any idea of what could be wrong any help would be appreciated.

Not sure if this would lead you in the right direction but... Back in the day, my grandmother had a car that was wrecked and in the trunk was an impact switch that needed to be reset. Basically, when the car was hit the impact kicked open the switch and after all the body work was done someone forgot to reset the switch and it wouldn't allow the fuel pump to run. So maybe your TJ has something similar?

Yes it should have a inertia switch on eather the left or right kick panel in the pass compartment.

IIRC, the ecu uses the signal from the CPS to trigger the fuel pump relay-- no inertia switch. In the case of an accident, engine turning= fuel pump, engine not turning= no pump.

Got it going, the module inside the distributor was bad.
