The Jeep is OK....but I love my quad.

Congrats.

From someone that likes mud, that makes perfect sense. A lot more fun sticking a 4wheeler in the muck than a jeep.

I would love to have a quad. your more open. its much more of a rush.
i just refuse to pay 6-8 grand on something im gonna abuse.... so that i can take it "Easy" on somethin worth half as much..

The jeep is still my daily, and will tow the ATV. Just don't want to have to fix the Jeep all the time and balance an ATV.

$8000 ($10-12 w/ financing?) would have covered a lot of Jeep repairs.

And lots of those repairs are going to come up anyway.

Financially, you've got no case to make. It was a horrible thing to do.

But hell, you're only young once. Might as well have fun!

get a real bike. im sorry just my .02

I miss my quad, It wasn't a 4x4 like yours, here in Cali there piontless, I like to get in the wide open desert and just hammer the gas. But that is still more fun on 2 wheels.

Enjoy, congrats and have fun!!!

so everyone out there financing AC Cobra kit cars should have just saved up $75k before they bought it?

everyone buying parts online for their jeeps with credit cards shouldnt?

everyone financing a $40k tow rig to tow their now toy jeep, when they could just buy a saturn for $10k shouldnt be?

Im all for staying outta debt, but if you can make the payments... why not enjoy something?

Id buy a Polaris RZR in a heartbeat if I didnt already have a 2 seater toy that I had to tow everywhere it goes...

I took the loan out through a local credit union. Total loan was $7,500 and some change. I was approved no problem, and have payments of $170/month.

60 months, but that doesn't mean I have to drag out the entire term. The lower monthly payment, gives me more flexibility in the amount a pay which is never the minimum.
