**** them.

I guarantee none of those assholes has ever even been to ocotillo wells..

Wow.

Sounds like it might be time to go out and document every trail out there, not just the main roads, so we will actually have somewhere to ride when this is over.

No doubt they have enough proof of people driving/riding thru vegetation, causing these nazis to have a case.

It just doesn't make sense. We are allotted small parcels of land in this region to enjoy our sport and its still not good enough for them. They won't be happy until offroading is banned completely. This is evident by the fact that they state maintained roads are a hazard to the environment.

I should counter sue for unessesary stress and mental anguish.

there is already anza borrego state park, which borders it and is a much greater area..

I thought ocotillo wells was an OHV area and not subject to bull shit like this. Wtf?!! What's going to happen to the obstical course? They gonna shut that down too?!?

doubt that this one will win as long as we all show support against it. write our congressman and elected officials. and dont stop. going to have to be super active on this one.

 Not Good

there is a lot of buzz about this Del Albright is spamming the info everywhere. the BRC, CAL4WD and CORVA are likely to be the main opposition to this. if you belong to any or all of these organizations check in with them and see what you can do to help fight this.

So they have successfully shut off-roaders out of most of the other public lands, now they turn on the off road parks?
Seriously, there has to be a court that will realize that when you condense a group of off roaders the size of California into such small areas, there is going to be more damage to the limited area we are given. The solution is dilution! Open MORE area for the off roaders to play and the effected areas will be LESS disturbed.
I'll bet the next suits will be to take out all major highways, as they scar the desert too. But wait, if the highways get much worse, we can wheel those!

"Environmentalists have filed a lawsuit seeking a court order that would force the state’s parks department to stop letting off-road vehicle buffs from driving their desert toys “amok” throughout the Ocotillo Wells state Vehicular Recreation Area.

It seeks a court order limiting off-roading to designated trails and argues that the core park management polices are illegal and should be immediately changed.

The lawsuit was filed in Sacramento Superior Court last week on behalf of the Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility and the Desert Protect"
