My horn died, finally, so I was thinking of an airhorn. I tried those cheap ass VIP air horns and it was plenty loud, but I wanted something deeper, like a semi. Anyone know where to get one that doesnt need a air tank?

Get a fog horn from a boat with a little 12 compressor :D

These things are CRAZY loud!! You will put semi-trucks and maybe even some trains to shame for sure.
Dude!
If you turn up your speakers on your computer, there even louder!!

Get a compressor, get a tank, go to a junk yard, get a horn. There are no shortcuts, do it once, do it right.

Mine is from a mid 70's IH box van, seems to be plenty loud at 90 PSI.

Late 70s Caddys and Lincolns have some pretty impressive electric horns on them.

Can the compressor from an ARB be used to fill a tank to operate one of those horns?

I've been looking to pick up a horn off of an old VW Beetle.

No, really.

We had a 72 Fleetwood at one point and it sounded like a slightly toned down train horn comin through...
