Newbie from Indiana

Just someone let me know. I figure a member price of $550 should be tempting enough for someone to take them.

For 4 or 5? Either way its a hell of a price!

I only have 4 of them. I have 3 used 33's and that will be enough to buy 2 33"km2's and another rim. That way I can have a full size spare....only a mismatching set. Oh well its a start

I had no idea you were in the area so often. Maybe next Thurs I should head up there early and catch you. If I make conversation with a fat bald guy wearing a green shirt hopping out of a Big Mac truck, and it's not you, I will certainly feel awkward. :D

I will be there this thurs, but not the following due to my daughters graduation. don't mistake me for the bald guy that is there on tues, he's a dick.

I'm new to the site too, and I live in West Lafayette as well. I took my jeep out to the badlands when it was stock, the only problem I had was the stock tires couldn't make it up this sandy hill. I have 3.5" of lift and 31's and have mostly no problems at all, a locker would be really useful in some places.

welcome to the MWC

you will enjoy it here.
these guys love to write....
so if you have ANY questions, these guys will answer them for you.

You should narrow it down for him a little bit more Dan.........I'm sure there's more than one bald fat guy that drives those roads at those times.

:D

i'll put more detail into the story next time. none of the fat bald guys that live in west L will be safe. "Hey, are the fat bald guy from NAXJA?" :gee:

somebody just make a sign that says "fat bald guy from NAXJA " it would be like picking somebody up from the air port :greensmok

LMAO I fit this catagory as well.. fat, bald guy in an xj!

i think there is a whole grip of us that fit in that category

see bacon thread :roflmao:

I live just outside of Battle Ground myself but still have a W. Laffy address... :)

Sounds like we're in the same area.

If you see another green XJ with a small Jeep Jamboree sticker on the left rear window, that'd be me:

Anyone else in the Lafayette area want to post up a pic? Makes waving a little easier....

Just wave to every unibody Jeep?

:laugh2::roflmao::laugh:

Ahem, sorry... Back when I drove a reasonably built TJ 90% of the "waved-ats" never waved back. Not about to try that with the XJ. And I'm a nice guy too.

That's a good plan... but then it takes me forever to get out of the mall or grocery store parking lots.

My policy is wave to any built vehicle... unibody or not, Jeep or not... we're all out there doing the same thing so who cares what you drive. :D

Here is mine. It's usually broke and sitting in the garage so it doesn't see much street time. But it's pretty hard to miss:
