That I was! I was active duty at Ft Ord, CA from '86-'88 and then at Ft Hood, TX from '95-'98, and in the reserves between them.

I went by Hill, Bill E. while at Ft Hood, on the CB and as a nickname.

Worked as a mechanic, supposed to tracks (self propelled howitzers) but I turned wrenches on everything we had.

I actually bought my '80 CJ while station in TX, from another mechanic in my unit.
