as a matter of fact, i have , when i did my banks cat back , the old muffler would not come off at all... so lacking a plasma cutter or sawzalli hacked it off with my hacksaw, had to replace my exhaust manifold, and spend a few hours combined time under there fooling with my dana 35 yoke and rear driveline.
