Like the new name. Definitely easier to understand. On a side note: he wants me to change my name as well. I agree it should be more Jeep related, but I have yet to come to a solid candidate for the new name. I'm sure I'll run across something eventually...

I personally do not believe that anyone else needs to understand what your user name means to you. It might mean something completely different to others. I suspect that very few people could figure out what my user name means to me.

I am interested in your MCMAP program? I was not aware that they had a belt ranking system? What belts/ranks does it include? Do they have a "Formally" accepted name for ranks? The reason I ask is one of the members of our Dojo joined the army and while in their Martial Arts training they ended up asking him to teach the class because the instructurs were learning so much new material from him (he was a Blue Belt in TaeKwon Do in our Dojo). But we also offer a "Formal" Mixed Martial Arts belt as well. We use Taekwon do, Karate, Juditsu, Russian Martial Arts, Police Acadamy training, and a few others as well as weapons, and disarms. It is fun stuff and I am sure it is similar to what you are going through. VERY usefull.

I thought we figured this out already.... "OinkXJ" :D Until you start wheeling a viper, that is.

Don't get me wrong, that is one of the possibilities, but I was leaning more towards "PDXJ". Simply because it not only represents my career choice, but it also represents my city. However, I don't want to encroach on Pdxxjnoob. Would that get confused easily? From what I remember, we came up with several different names: HotpocketXJ, OinkXJ, BlahblahXJ, etc, etc. :D

Note to self: Bring note pad next time! We came up with some real pearls, if I recall.

Pearls indeed! It would've supplied you with quotes for the next year or so. On a slightly related topic: where was that spot in Washington that was only an hour or so from Portland? Once I find a new job, thereby producing a higher income, I want to start heading up that way more.

That was probably Elbe Hills. Search and you'll find some gnarly pics. About an hour further North is Evans Creek, not as hairy, but still fun. Ditto the search for pics.

MCMAP is similar to what you were talking about, we use allot of of different martial arts, some of the main ones are Judo, Juditsu, Isreali Martial Arts, Kick boxing, and some useful bar-fighting stuff. The belts are Tan, Gray, Green, Brown, and Black. usually you have to be and E-4 to take the Green belt and higher classes/beatings but our istructor found a loop-hole so i was able to get my green belt as an E-3.

Cool. When we meet on the trail we can do some sparing/grappleing :)

I expect to see your user name change to brownbeltxj in the future, then blackbeltxj :)
