I finally got around to making some changes to the rig and picked up a new trailer.
First the xj:
-regeared to 4.10s WOW! What a difference!
-bumped from 245/75r16 MTRs to 265/75r16 BFG all terrains
-picked up a set of Moabs and blasted and painted them graphite
-no picks, but installed a mount for my portable gps, a digital compass (so I don't have to hook up my portable gps all the time) and Cobra cb
Now the trailer:
-picked it up cheap in another state. Brought it home, took it apart, had it blasted, primed and painted to match the XJ. I even blasted the combat wheels and painted them graphite. Replaced all the bearings, springs, lights, wiring and saftey chains. POR15 on the chassis and Herculiner inside. I'm in the process of building a front and rear fold up landing leg, mounting my tool box on the front and water / gas cans on the side. This is a Bantam and has a tailgate. My last m416 didn't and I found it to be kind of a pain taking the cover off all the time.
