Ive been around the scene for awhile. Been outta the scene for @ 5 years. Ive owned my 97 XJ for almost 10 years now. She had 30,000 on her when i bought her. My wife has been driving her back and forth to work for about 3 years and thats about the extent of wheelin she has seen. maybe 4 miles per day in Castle Rock. Some of you might recignize my jeep... its been around town for awhile. Just thought id drop a line, say hi and see what ive missed in 5 years... heres what im rolling with

1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport 120,000ish miles
4.0 I6
Auto AW4
NP231 Transfer case with a slip conversion
Clayton offroad long arm kit
6" lift
Rancho Shocks
ARB Bull Bar
BFG 32x11.50r15
American Racing Python Rims
Rock Rails
Metal Works body Armor
Bushwacker Pocket flares
Newer front seats out of a 99 XJ
JKS Sway Bar Disconnects
Gas tank skid

she needs some love before she will be on the trail again. Oil pump is starting to loose presure at idle, that and my wife is 6 months prego and the jeep needs more seats so a complete rework is in the planning for seating for at least 5 (incase of future family additions) and tube/rollcage work... all it takes is money!

here are some pics of my second wedding anniversary.. my wifes idea! We actually met on the Wheeler Lake Trail up at the Lake and she Thought it was fitting.. who am i to Argue?

Welcome aboard fellow Castle Rockian. I just sent you a PM asking all of the questions that this thread answered. We should get together and hit up Daken Rd one afternoon.

Count me in I'm in Franktown neibors!

sounds cool.. once they open Daken we may have to go play a little. most of the crazy stuff has been closed for some time but 1/2 way down there is a rock section that you can screw around on... havent been there in like a year or so.. but heres some pics of last time.

Cool welcome!! I'm thinking in a couple of months when the snow up there melts.

I've only been up there once...took the hard way in from Jackson Creek Rd. That rocky area is fun to play on. Got some cool pics last time I was there.
