New spark plug. Anyone have thoughs or experience with them?

Gotta wonder, go ahead, give them a try, record some numbers and use a calculator to see if you actually do get improved milage, don't wing it, write the milage and gallons down then do the math. You cell phone probably has a built in calculator.
For some strang reason the jeep I4 and I6 seem to run their best on copper core champions.

I just changed my plugs not to long ago. I was having hesitation in the stupid thing especially when going up hills in OD. Someone told me that when you hit the break in OD the trans atomically down shift from OD. This seems to be what is happening because it shimmies and acts like it does not know what gear to be in, but I don’t know where the adjustment is.

Looked like multiple electrodes. Electricity takes the easiest path and not multiple paths. Most often the claims from multi-electrode plugs are not verified in independent testing.

When you hit the brake, it unlocks the torque converter, but it doesn't downshift unless it needs to. If yours is an 87-90, you might get less hunting by switching from "comfort" to "power." But if it still hunts, you might need to check/replace the throttle position sensor.

I tried them. Seat-of-pants said they did improve performance, but fuel milage did not change. I also had more spark knock with these plugs. I'm back to NGKs.

I dont have the button. Its a 2000. I'll do a search on the throttle position sensor and see what I come up with. Thanks!

Cheap champions for me. Only thing that likes Champions are my lawnmower and the I6.

You are not running oversize tires with the stock gears, are you? If so, it will hunt, especially on hills, since you decreased your overall drive ratio.

It has 33's and it got regeared when the lockers were put in. It does good its just sometimes it freaks out - rpms shooting up and down and the vehicle starts to jerk back and fourth. Im going to check out the TPS and if its bad hopefully that is the problem. Someone said it could be the torque converter but I dont think its that because then it would do it all the time, but its random so we'll see. I'll post up on here if/when I fix it. Thanks for the tip though MOFO!

I like what new tech can provide, I may try em when my Bosch Platinum 2's are done. I've tried the NGK's, Dealer Champions, Store Champs, and the Platinum 2's give ME the best MPG and performance of all of em.
