new sound bar its invisable

Well I got the new fabric on the sound bar today. The one from here. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=943160 I will be putting it in in a few days. Here are a couple pics. It matches my headliner from here.

You just convinced me to follow up with my headliner to include the soundbar and light housings.

Was it a PITA to get the fabric around corners etc without wrinkles? Thats what had me spray my soundbar.

I've covered a sound bar before and it wasn't really a PITA. You'll have some wrinkles but they'll be on the underside of the sound bar where it won't matter. Give it a shot...worse thing that can happen is you screw up $10 of material.

I have enough material left to do it and the sunvisors/lights.

Looking back at magimerlins original headliner post i can see how he trimmed to wrap around corners on the light housings. Again, good job.

Thank you everyone. I enjoy doing things like this. I can be a PITA if you do not have the patience for it. But its not all that bad. The multiple corners on the ends made it a bit difficult but not inpossible. As JohnB noticed it is all in where you cut the corners to help cut down on the wrinkles, of which I do have a couple in the tighter areas. But I am happy with it.

bought a rear speaker mount today from http://www.daveysjeeps.com/. i'm going to do that exact setup, but with a different camo print.
