So I was in Fortuna yesterday, and theres a really cool shop there called Fat Rat enterprises. They seem like really cool guys. They let me take a driveshaft fro a part out, and they have very good labor rates. I almost peed when I rolled up.
They are building a 92 or 93 xj. The guy had them build one before, but it got wrecked, so now he's going all out on a new one. We need to find out who this guy is! Haha
So far-
6.5 inches of lift, long arms
King resi shock on all corners
High steer
Hydro assist
35's on american racing rims (I think the teflon ones)
Front and rear CURRIE rock jock axles, with 4.88's, and arb's. (Both were high pinions!)
Frame stiffeners
Rock Hard 4x4 cage (Not yet installed)
Front hanson bumper, with the warn powerplant
Rear tire carrier
Sliders
Newly redone interior(Dash, door panels, seats, custom gauges)
Roof rack with one of those LED light bars
And the craziest part?
It has one of those Titan 4.9 liter motor, with a newer type of piston. The guy told me its the first motor to have them.
I didn't grab any pics, but I'll head back down there soon.
BTW, when they ordered the cage, the company sent the one for the 97+. They now have one for sale, for cheap. PM me for details.
