NEW Sanden SD-709 Compressor

BRAND NEW, unboxed SD-709 AC compressor WITH 6 grove clutch. This compressor will fit several XJ models and years. Since it is new and never filled/charged it can be used with R-12 or R134a systems. (the 709 was originally the R12 compressor, change in 94) New o-rings in other parts of your system and a new drier should complete any conversion from R12 to R134a. Put on your R134a valves and you are good to go. Fill with the proper amount of PAG oil and then charge it up.

I need a compressor for my 96 XJ, will the 709 fit that year? I am looking on the web to try to confirm this. also, is there a clutch with it?

Have you sold this yet? And, will it bolt up to the support bracket for an 89/4.0? I might take this thing off your hands if so - since I've got an 89 that I want to make into a travel rig, and it needs A/C...
