New Ringgold PA EZ Pull / Salvage yard

Just what do you guys use to get an axle out of a junkyard? They are way to heavy to move with just two people and the lots are littered so bad with broken metal and windows just waiting to puncture my truck's tires...

lay old piece of carpet down, use tools to remove u- bolts and shocks, cut brakelines, use man power to carry axle, or a wagon if they have them

HARRYs has wagons... BELIEVE ME when I got the 8.25 to the cashier I could barely talk I was so beat from pulling the wagon / axle outta there. I am thinking of getting some kind of douple wheeled wheelbarrow to haul crap out from the EZ pulls.

I was lucky at the Harrys in Hazleton, By some freaky stroke of luck someone laid a piece of carpet / board right next to the Cherokee I was hacking on / crawling under. I had heavy Carhartts on so laying on the ground was no biggie. I wouldnt want to be doing that crap in the summer when its HOT. Who knows what kinda garbage youre crawling in. Hope you got your Tetanus shots. heh heh

HAHA nice, I have a hand truck i use to carry the tool boxes around and I used man power and the parts bus to get my axle, rear, whatever you wanna call it to the cashier

Just got back from the EZ Pull in Ringgold got a few goodies. I just wanted to clarify an earlier post. They do have Dana 44s but they are the FULL SIZE axles in Both Dodge Rams and Grand Wagoneers... They are there.

I just got Front and Gas Skids. LaBaron vents, and 2 Grand Wagoneer Horns heh heh. Hooked the Horns up the minute I got home.

looks to me like all the Dodge and Jeep / AMC horns have the same Plug and are a direct bolt on. went right on my 97 with no fuss.

I visited the Harrys in Pennsburg today. :thumbdn: :thumbdn: A couple xjs but very Slim pickins. If youre gonna Travel Go to Harrys in Hazleton or EZ Pull in Ringgold (EZ Pull has better prices). By Far the best in this general area. I'm trying to justify driving up to Hazleton again. just need a few things on my need & wanna find list.

don't waste your time going to harry's in hazelton it's picked clean and they really do rape u on prices i was there 2 weeks ago and i didn't find any thing that i needed

I'm going to be looking for a new rear passenger door soon for my 98, hoping I can find a green one. May try the ez next week, tues and wed weather looks possible.

I'm thinking of heading up here in the next few days. Anyone going?
I've never been there, and i'm looking for parts for my dodge dakota (i know, not a jeep...)

it's all about timing. i have gotten 2 xj d44 rear axles from ez pull in the 4years that i have lived here. they are $45 if they cut it out for you. the guy that cut my last one out said he takes all the d44s himself n holds them for a guy. sometimes they slip through, obviously. very rare at harry's, think i have only seen 1 there. i go to both ezpull/harry's very often. jus went to both last week and xjs are plentiful, even quite a few late models, "cash for clunkers" i suspect............
